Special Events - C Bracket Horse Barn

Join us at the barn for a guided horseback trail ride and experience a true Wyoming pastime. Our busy season here at the C Bracket Horse Barn runs through the warm summer months. However, riding lessons continue well into the fall and pick up again in early spring after a mid-winter break.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The barn is available for unique birthday parties and other special events, as the barn schedule allows. A barn reservation also includes the Bunkhouse, which offers a view of the corral and arenas, plus creature comforts like indoor plumbing and heating and air conditioning.

Birthday Party Details

An event reservation at the barn for two hours is $150.
Horses are available for events at a rate of $35/horse/hour. Horses may be on leadlines for little riders or ridden independently for older riders. The hour includes basic lesson instruction and simple horseback games and activities.

TRAIL RIDES

Experience Wyoming - Let us host you for a guided trail ride

Trail rides are ideal for out-of-towners, dates, or family get-togethers.

Trail rides begin with basic horseback riding instructions in the arena for those who need them. The younger kids in your group can ride on a leadline with a wrangler from the barn staff. For those who are confident riding out, the guided trail ride will progress to one of the 100-acre pastures surrounding the barn, with stunning, peaceful views of the sunset and Casper Mountain.

Private trail rides at the barn for groups up to four riders are available for $65/horse/hour.
Private rides for groups of five or more riders at the barn are $55/horse/hour.
Off-site trail rides along the North Platte River or on Muddy Mountain are available.

PONY RIDES

We begin our group horsemanship lesson program at five years old. If you have a younger student who is dying to ride, you can register them for the Rainbow Riders group class or a private pony ride!

For our smallest riders, we move at a pace appropriate for their size and safety. Both group and private classes focus on how to safely move around and lead horses, as well as grooming, saddling and balance and control in the saddle.

The Rainbow Riders group class is $25 per 30-minute class. Students must register for the full session. Registration available here.
